Graduate program 2021 – Attention: All job seekers graduating in 2020 and 2021

Some of you might already know but many who have recently joined the master’s program 2021 may not know that graduate program for many the big MNCs including the big 4 ( KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, EY) and others like Accenture BOI, ESB etc are currently open and will be closed by mid Oct’20. The graduate role will a very good starting point especially for freshers and people with very limited experience. Those who are looking for streams such as Audit, Tax, etc in big 4 will have a chance to be full-fledged Accountant by the end of the graduate role.

(1) Who should apply?

Anyone who has graduated in 2020 with a min 2.1 grades or who be graduating in 2021 are eligible to apply. These companies generally look for freshers or people who looking for their second job. Although there is no strict binding on this.

(2) How will your application be evaluated?

Different companies will have a different procedure but in general, you need to fill the application and complete the Psychometry test, game-based analytical assessments followed by a personal interview by the senior manager or managing director of the business unit

(3) What competencies are sought?

Applications will be evaluated on the basis of your profile (CV), Academic score, projects undertaken. Companies give a special attention to your personal attributes such as failure points, ability to work in teams, abilities or experiences of pushing the boundaries, survival, and competency under a rigorous curriculum, Innovation, and creativity.

(4) What are the major failure points?

(4.1) Lack of seriousness in answering the questions such as “why”, “What” on the application 

(4.2) lack of company-specific customization.

(4.3) lack of understanding that what is sought and how these qualifications, experience and personal attributes are showcased

(4.4) lack of understanding of how the psychometric test and analytical assessments are done

(4.5) Lack of idea of how the candidature will be judged during the interviews

(4.6) No Idea which stream (technology, Analytics, Audit, tax, etc) is the best fit for the candidate.

(5) Choosing the right stream

You may choose the Graduate stream out of Technology consulting , Analytics, cyber security, Audit, Tax, Actuary. You are advised to apply only in one stream in each company. It is best to correlate your interest, knowledge , academics and experience aligned with the stream of choice
